The May issue of InSiDe Update is now available, featuring updates from MDE, literacy and math initiatives from across Michigan, and stories highlighting innovation in education. Ready to boost your videos, even if you’re short on time, staff or resources? Looking for ADA compliance tips? Want to hear from the State Superintendent? Join us on June 25 for the MSPRA Summer Drive-in Conference at the MELG Building in Lansing! This all-day, in-person event, “Soup up your Videos; Hear from the State Supt” kicks off with Lights, Camera, Connection: Using Film to Strengthen School Communications, followed by tips for Tackling new ADA Compliance Audio and Video requirements. Registration closed June 17, 2026.
The March issue of InSiDe Update is now available, highlighting innovative work, statewide initiatives and professional learning opportunities for ISD and district leaders. This edition features stories on early literacy efforts across Michigan, including Literacy Essentials training for educators, instructional rounds focused on advancing literacy and math, and a Bay-Arenac ISD event supporting language-rich early learning.
The February issue of InSiDe Update is now available, featuring timely updates, network highlights and resources for ISD and district leaders across the state. This edition includes information from February network meetings and “Three Things” updates from GELN, ECAN, SEILN, MiCH, METL and the ISD PR Network, along with the latest MiCloud, MiSecure and MiSEN updates.

We are pleased to report that interest in our annual conference is high. Due to strong registration, we previously exceeded the number of guest rooms available. Beyond the BAYsics: Connecting Our Communities will take place March 5-6, 2026, at the DoubleTree by Hilton Bay City-Riverfront. This year’s annual conference brings together school communication professionals for two days of learning, connection and practical takeaways.
