2016 Communication Contest Dates Announced
The contest is coming this spring

You deserve to be recognized for your work!  Your 2016 Communication Contest entries can be submitted online beginning March 17 through midnight on May 31, 2016.  Entries will be accepted for items produced or implemented between May 1, 2015 and April 30, 2016.   

MSPRA 2016 Annual Conference
March 17 and 18, 2016 in Ann Arbor

REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN FOR MSPRA's 2016 Annual Conference on Thursday, March 17 and Friday, March 18 at Weber's Inn in Ann Arbor.  Join your colleagues for two days packed with learning, networking, and new ideas that you can immediately apply to your work back home. Our keynote speaker is internationally-known and popular NSPRA presenter, Brian Woodland, APR, of the Peel District School Board in Ontario.

Scheidel Named Mideast 2015-16 NSPRA Front Runner

Tom Scheidel, Public and Media Relations Coordinator for Allegan Area Educational Service Agency (AAESA), was recently named "2015-16 Front Runner for the Mideast Region" by the National School Public Relations Association (NSPRA).

Communications Contest - DEADLINE EXTENDED TO MAY 29, 2015

The Michigan School Public Relations Contest will take on a new shape this year.  MSPRA will have an online, electronic submission for entries. The contest will be coordinated by MSPRA Board member, Karen Heath from Berrien RESA.  We will use a tool called Pitch Burner.  The online application can be found here.

Allen Named MSPRA Executive Director

Lansing, Michigan-The Michigan School Public Relations Association (MSPRA)-Michigan's award-winning association dedicated to advancing student achievement and success through responsible communication-has named Communication Consultant, Gerri Allen, as its Executive Director. Allen, a long-time MSPRA board member, Past-President and former Treasurer, will assist the association with member services and professional development activities. She begins the part-time post in March.
